There are many types of copywriters, and choosing your copywriting niche can be tough. There’s no surefire formula and no one can decide it for you. In-house copywriters earn slightly less than freelancers, with an average income of $61,424 per year, though in-house roles do bring more stability.

Both in-house and freelance copywriters can earn over $100,000 per year, especially if they specialize in a lucrative, well-paying niche. For example, B2B copywriters typically earn between $64,000 and $107,000 per year, while UX copywriters can earn an annual income of over $125,000.
