When people discover Proofread Anywhere — or any work-from-home gig, for that matter — one of the first questions they ask is, “How fast can I start making money?”
And that’s a valid question. Most people who are looking for freelance jobs are doing so because they need more money. Heck, we all want and need more money, amirite? 😉
But there’s a problem with asking this question right off the bat. While I know it’s hard not to focus on the money, there’s something else you should focus on first.
And that is asking yourself…
“What SKILLS do I need to master first in order to make money?”
Now don’t get me wrong — it’s great that you have BIG dreams for making tons of money. But earning a ton of money takes a LOT of work, and my courses are not designed to bring you six figures. In fact, they’re not designed to bring you ANY money without putting in the hard work first.
You need to learn the skills before you can make the money.
Yes, it will take longer than you probably hoped. Yes, it might be frustrating that you won’t get that quick cash in your pocket.
But Proofread Anywhere isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s a learn-the-skills-and-reap-the-rewards opportunity.
Take the time to learn the skills, and THEN earn the moolah. It’s that simple.
How does one acquire a proofreading job without having experience. I subscribe to various online jobsites listing proofreading jobs, but all require experience.
Hi, Renee! This is something that is covered in our General Proofreading course, and you can learn more about the course here: https://learn.proofreadanywhere.com/registergptp.
