Hi, my name is Dan Scanlon. I've been a wannabe entrepreneur for years trying various pursuits without success. I finally settled on purchasing Proofread Anywhere almost two and a half years ago. I have started and stopped this course two different times since then. So almost three weeks ago, I did finally get committed and finally moved forward with this. I restarted and went past where I had gotten to last year with the revised course. Last week, I completed the vocabulary quiz after two attempts, and that was a great feeling. Earlier this week, after learning to be comfortable using my iPad since last Black Friday, I downloaded iAnnotate. Today, I spent some good quality of study time reviewing the use of iAnnotate, getting comfortable with marking up PDFs on the iPad.

So as you can see, I have not yet completed the course, but I'm confident I will be doing so before the end of this year. I have made some specific business goals along with fun me stuff goals to reach for, and that's helping to inspire me forward. My business launch date is set for Thanksgiving of this year. But my big deal in all of this is I becoming comfortable actually telling people that I'm going to be in business for myself soon. Now that's something I have not been able to feel confident about before.

I am committed to my weekly non-negotiable time, always focusing on only what's necessary. I am staying true to consistently studying at least eight hours every week in addition to my full-time day job, which is now working from home. Besides my daily, almost daily Proofread Anywhere studies, I have even started walking regularly. It's something I'm beginning to look forward to. I have to admit all of this moving forward is kind of scary, but I do feel confident in a way that I have not in the past. This will be a good side hustle, earning funds to help with expenses and for getting some things we want. Also, these studies and the work in preparation for retirement in a couple of years, that would be two years early.
