While we have gone to great lengths to build exhaustive resources containing all of the necessary lessons, tools, and practice materials to ensure students will have success after taking the courses, we can’t advertise a blanket guarantee that all students will be successful marketing themselves or actually performing proofreading work.
Just as colleges and universities do not guarantee you will get a job after graduating, students enrolled in Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ or General Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ are not guaranteed success or income merely by completing the courses. All students who enroll acknowledge this fact and agree that securing clients is solely their own responsibility.
Before enrolling in the courses, students acknowledge that any success or income is solely dependent upon their own understanding and application of the material, content, and methods as outlined in the courses and their own individual effort and abilities. Not following instructions, lacking personal aptitude or necessary prerequisite skills (i.e. not having sufficient eye for detail, not retaining or understanding necessary concepts, etc.), or refusing to put in the work it takes to find clients are not the fault of Proofread Anywhere LLC, or the affiliates, contractors, employees or directors and officers of Proofread Anywhere LLC.
The courses provide the tools necessary to do the work properly that should enable you to find clients. We just can’t do the work for you.
Proofread Anywhere has achieved positive results for its clients, but the revenue figures and successes of our top clients are not typical. Since past performance is not a predictor of future success, you may have more or less success depending on many factors, including your background, experience, work ethic, client base, and market forces.
Material discussed is meant for general illustration and/or informational purposes only, and it is not to be construed as investment, tax, or legal advice. Although the information has been gathered from sources believed to be reliable, please note that individual situations can vary. Therefore, the information should be relied upon when coordinated with individual professional advice.
Additionally, at times we may discuss the law or new and pending legislation. Please know our understanding of it is constantly changing, and you cannot and should not rely upon us for legal, financial, or accounting advice.
Finally, students acknowledge that we will not find clients for them. Aside from being impossibly time-consuming to be constantly on a quest to find clients for every student, I have no guarantee that your work is actually good unless I see it. If I tell someone to use you, and you’re not as good as you’d hoped, that would become our responsibility.
Remember, taking one of Proofread Anywhere’s courses does not give you an eye for detail — you either have it, or you don’t.
Refunds
Transcript Proofreading: Theory & Practice™ and General Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ are courses in which you enroll, not products you purchase, use, then just return if they don’t fit. After access is granted, due to the sensitive, proprietary nature of the copyrighted content, Proofread Anywhere does not refund tuition fees for any reason, except as otherwise specified on a checkout page or sales page for a product offered.
Similar to a college or university class environment, you cannot request a refund from the instructor once you’ve purchased the course.
We’ve put six-plus years of hard work into these courses. We know that if what we teach is implemented, you will easily make the investment back over and over again. We get to see it happen every single day.
We do not offer refunds because we are building a community of professionals committed to taking action and making their lives better. When you enroll, you are committing. If you’re not ready to take action, don’t commit.
